Thanks to Kay Tanner, who says: "Mr. Stone wore the same tie every day to school. It was not attractive and had a sample of every meal he consumed. We took up a collection and purchased him a new tie for Christmas -- he wore that tie every day until school was out.
"Also, the guy in the back row named Woodrow was the only 7th grader that had to shave, and I think he turned 15 and got a learners permit that year. His girlfriend was Sandra (far right on 3rd row). I can't remember last names -- maybe someone has a better memory and can help. I thought they were such a grown-up couple. Wonder what became of them."
