Mr. Grady W. Vest, age 69, of Jonesboro, passed away, September 29, 2008. He was a member of Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. He was retired from Coca Cola U.S.A. with 33 years of service. He was a member of Kiwanis Club of Jonesboro, a member of Coca Cola Chemist Club, and was a graduate of Berry College. He is survived by his wife, Dianne; sons and daughters in law, Gary Wayne and Ellen Vest of Simpsonville, SC, Rev. Roger Alan and Bonnie Vest of Chatsworth, Ryan William and Heather Vest of Cumming; brother and sister in law, James and Jean Vest of Eva, AL; sisters, Edith Hyatt, Lucille Ball, Reba Taylor all of Hartselle, AL, Janny Chaney of Falkville, AL; sister and brother in law, Judy and Dan Holland of Rogersville, AL; grandchildren, Natalie Vest, Grady Alan Vest, Mary Frances Vest, Drew Vest, and Cameron Vest. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. The remains will be placed in state one hour prior to the service. Pastor Charles Robinson will officiate. Interment Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends, TODAY, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
