Mrs. Shirley Hand Vasser, age 75 of Jonesboro passed away May 28, 2022. Mrs. Vasser enjoyed traveling, cooking, cutting grass, gardening and fishing. She made friends everywhere she went. She was preceded in death by her husband: William Vasser; son: Jimmy Vasser; sister: Dianne Foster. She is survived by her son: Jesse Keith Vasser of Jonesboro; brother-in-law: Kendall Foster of Jonesboro; grandchildren: Danielle (John Paul) Coussons, Amber Vasser, Cori Massey, Chian Vasser, and Jade Vassser; 8 great grandchildren: Kamryn, Levi, Kodi, Karson, Tyler, Addy, Violet, and John Luke; many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesboro. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the funeral home.
