Brenda Bassett Moser

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Georgia Cremation - Fayetteville on Oct. 11, 2023.

Our beloved mother Brenda Moser gained her heavenly wings on October 05, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Atlanta GA on 12-20-1946 to John and Marian Bassett.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Marian, her two brothers, Tommy and Johnny, her bonus daughter Dana Moser and the love of her life, our father Stan Moser. Left to try to go on without her are her children, Kim Gulnac (Mike), John Ray Smith (Kellie), and John Michael Moser (Becky). She is also survived by her two sisters Debbie (Riley), and Melanie Jackson. Brenda also had 8 grandchildren, Joseph (Kristina), Brandon, Taylor (Brad), Cody (Mya), Emily, Andie, Samuel (Kendall) and Ben. She had 5 wonderful great grandchildren Lexie, Jordyn, Emily, Abby and Aiden.

The joy her family brought her was immeasurable. She also left many other extended family including her sisters-in-law who she cherished spending time with as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews who she may not have seen often but she loved each one. She loved nothing more than a good family reunion especially if it was near a casino. Mama loved God, Family, Her Friends, especially The Sandra's, #1 and 2. She loved traveling, shopping, and gambling not necessarily in the above order sometimes. Mama was light and goodness, and she was also the strongest woman we were privileged to know and be loved by. This past year dimmed her light but now we hope that she is reunited in heaven with our dad and they are the brightest light in the sky. She was everything good in this world and our lives were better having her for the short time we did. I can promise you everything good in us is because of her and our dad Stan. I would like to add a special thank you to Aunt Debbie, Beverly, Sandra 1 and Sandra 2. You 4 have blessed our lives so much this year and I don't know what we would have done without you, and Sandra Turley who went above and beyond for mama and was the kind of friend we all need in our lives. Rest easy, mama. Have a big game of 31 like we did on Sundays after church. Just don't play Uno with Nanny. She cheats. We will love you, honor you and will miss you forever.
