Donald Harvey Sheffield


Donald Harvey Sheffield, son of B.H. and Helen Sheffield, died Jan. 13, 2024, after an extended illness.

A resident of Henry County since 1968, he was born Sept. 19, 1947, and spent his childhood in Rex, Ga.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and upon his discharge became a Master Electrician and a Safety Specialist within his field.

He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Butch Rowell and Joe Speed.

Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Kim Snellings (Kenneth), Deborah Najjar and his granddaughter, Madysen Sheffield; along with his sister, Becky Poole, her husband, Paul and their son Billy Rowell; and his sister, Juanita Speed and her son, Paul Speed; along with numerous extended relatives and friends.

A huge thank you goes out to his sister, Becky, and her husband, Paul Poole, for the love and care provided to him in his final weeks.
